ABOUT THE JOB
- Analyze and translate business requirements into long-term data models
- Collaborate with customers and development teams to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Evaluate existing data systems and identify discrepancies, variances, and efficiency gaps
- Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency across systems
- Review and adapt modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility
- Update and optimize local and metadata models
- Troubleshoot and enhance performance of data systems
- Document data architecture and modeling solutions.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelors degree in data engineering, computer science or related fields
- Strong experience in Data Warehouse development, including logical & physical database design
- Expertise in database modeling methods (Relational, Dimensional, Data Vault 2.0)
- Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Oracle Data Modeler, Power Designer, etc.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Good English, both written and spoken
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
