Job Overview
This role serves as the Country Manager for Vietnam, focusing on building local sales and marketing capabilities, establishing distribution networks, and driving market penetration for 3C and digital accessory products. The position requires hands-on leadership to navigate local market dynamics and achieve sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute country-specific sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Build and manage distributor/retailer networks, ensuring broad product availability and effective channel partnerships.
- Lead local market entry efforts, including consumer insights, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Oversee marketing campaigns tailored to local preferences, leveraging digital platforms and offline channels.
- Manage end-to-end operations, including inventory, logistics, and local compliance.
- Collaborate with global teams on product localization, promotions, and supply chain optimization.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations.
- Recruit, train, and lead local teams to execute business plans effectively.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in 3C/digital accessories or FMCG/Consumer electronics.
- Proven track record in market entry, distribution network development, and P&L management for Vietnam.
- Strong understanding of local retail landscapes (e.g., traditional trade, modern trade, eCommerce).
- Fluency in English or Chinese Mandarin (required); proficiency in Vietnamese is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive results with limited resources.
- Willingness to relocate and travel extensively within the country.
