Job Description
HIRING: CORE ENGINEER | SINGAPORE
We are currently looking for a Core Engineer to join our client's team in Singapore.
Location: Changi, Singapore
Deployment: Occasional deployment to Bedok / Seletar
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Nationality: Open to candidates of any nationality who are willing to relocate to Singapore
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies including VSM, Process Mapping, DMAIC, FMEA, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and RCA.
• Analyze operational processes to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity, enhance quality, and optimize performance.
• Lead and facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process mapping, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement workshops.
• Lead or support improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation and benefits realization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, project trackers, and performance metrics covering productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Coach and support employees in applying Lean principles and structured problem-solving tools.
• Develop digital solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ignition, or equivalent platforms to improve process visibility and automation.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations.
• Practical experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events, VSM workshops, process mapping, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Experience supporting or leading cross-functional improvement projects.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar digital tools.
• OEM manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
