This role will lead and optimize music content operations to keep Zing MP3 relevant and competitive. This role requires strong ownership, data-driven thinking, and proven experience in music or digital content platforms.
Role Description
- Take ownership of playlist performance, including planning, distribution, and ongoing optimization to improve streams, engagement, and follower growth;
- Analyze listening data and user behavior to identify trends and propose practical content improvements;
- Stay on top of new releases, emerging artists, genres, and consumption trends to ensure timely and relevant content decisions;
- Work closely with Editorial, Product, and Marketing teams to execute content initiatives and campaigns that meet traffic and engagement goals;
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of music metadata and content descriptions to support search, discovery, and recommendation systems;
- Proactively suggest and implement ideas to improve content performance and operational efficiency;
- Provide guidance to junior team members when needed and help maintain overall content quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in music content operation, editorial, or digital media platforms;
- Strong knowledge of music genres, artists, and listener behavior is a big plus;
- Proven ability to use data and insights to drive content decisions;
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Creative mindset with strategic thinking;
