About the role
The Career Consultant will be a key member of the Career Services team, responsible for providing career advising and guidance to students, developing employer partnerships, and organizing career-related programs and events. This role plays an important part in supporting students professional development and enhancing their employability by connecting them with internship and job opportunities, as well as building strong networks with industry partners.

Roles and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the Career Consultant includes but is not limited to:
- Provide individual and group career advising sessions to students on career exploration, job search strategies, resume/cover letter writing, interview preparation, and professional skills development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and alumni to expand opportunities for internships, practicums, and full-time employment
- Coordinate, plan, and deliver career-related programs and events such as Career Talks, employer information sessions, workshops, and the annual Career Day
- Collaborate with faculties and academic departments to integrate career development support into curriculum and to identify student internship/experiential learning opportunities
- Maintain and update student and employer engagement records in Salesforce (or other CRM system) for accurate data tracking and reporting
- Promote Career Services activities through multiple channels to ensure strong student and employer participation
- Stay current on labor market trends, graduate employability needs, and best practices in career counselling and employer engagement
Other duties:
Contributing to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed; and perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Masters degree preferred
Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in career counseling, student services, employer relations, recruitment, or a related field.
- Experience in higher education or educational institutions is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in planning and executing events or workshops
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of career development theories, job market trends, and employer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Ability to provide career advising, coaching, and mentoring to students and young professionals
- Skills in event planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM tools), MS Office, and online collaboration platforms
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven with a passion for supporting students professional growth
- High integrity, teamwork spirit, and ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
