Job Description

Role Summary

  • The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will lead the analysis, documentation, and delivery of digital initiatives across Otto International for the Entreprise Solutions team. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that digital projects are scoped effectively, requirements are clearly defined, and implementations align with strategic goals. The BA will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for digital solutions.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis and feasibility assessments for new initiatives.

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Support project planning, sprint coordination, and milestone tracking.
  • Facilitate workshops, demos, and UAT sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate risks or blockers.

Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with external vendors.
  • Coordinate licensing, onboarding, and integration efforts with external partners and vendors.
  • Align internal teams (HR, Finance, Admin, IT) on project goals and deliverables.

Jira & Atlassian Platform Expertise

  • Design and maintain Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, and automation rules to support digital project lifecycles.
  • Create and manage Jira Service Management projects, including request types, SLAs, and queues.
  • Develop and maintain Jira-based applications for internal teams, including procurement, HR, and IT workflows.
  • Collaborate with Atlassian administrators to ensure platform governance, performance, and scalability.

Documentation & Process Mapping

  • Maintain detailed documentation for workflows, systems, and configurations.
  • Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and training materials.
  • Ensure smooth handover and knowledge transfer during transitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or digital project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Atlassian certification required (e.g., Jira Project Administrator or equivalent).
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure AD, and Salesforce.
