Bond Manager

Project Description

Our client is a global consulting firm specialising in large scale transformation, carve outs and turnaround programmes. We are working with the APAC practice who are seeking a Bond Securities business expert to support a live engagement with a banking client in SE Asia.

They require someone with experience of underwriting and placing bonds (mortgage backed/asset backed securities) for professional securities investors (insurers, pension funds). The ideal person will bring specific experience with mortgage backed securities and structuring performing or non-performing loans for sale.

Scope:

• Segmenting mortgage portfolio to appeal to specific risk/return profiles of target investors (insurers, pension funds, bank / corporate treasuries)
• shaping development of private placement pitch deck e.g., term-sheet, subscription agreement, trustee/agency role, settlement workflows, disclosure templates, bookbuilding comms, etc.)

This is an initial 3 week engagement (full time)followed by a 3 month extension (2-3 days a week) if a Go decision is given post the initial analysis phase.

You&aposll be working within the consulting firm team delivering for their end client.

No local language skills are needed and this can be delivered remotely if preferred.

Requirements:

• experience of underwriting & placing mortgage-backed securities
• experience of underwriting and placing bonds (mortgage backed / asset backed securities)) for professional securities investors (insurers, pension funds). Even more particularly
• experience with mortgage backed securities and structuring performing or non-performing loans for sale
• 5-10 years experience with experience in (rank ordered): ABS, VND bonds
• expertise in Vietnam, Thailand or Indonesia Bond securities
• available from 1st week of September
