Job Description

Our client is an established corporate services provider seeking an experienced Associate Director, Corporate Secretarial Services to lead its Singapore team.

This is a senior leadership opportunity combining client relationship management, corporate governance advisory, team leadership and operational oversight. The successful candidate will manage strategic client relationships, oversee complex corporate secretarial matters and contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the corporate secretarial team, including team leads and senior professionals.
  • Manage key client relationships, providing corporate governance and secretarial advisory support.
  • Oversee corporate secretarial services for corporate entities and fund structures.
  • Review complex corporate actions, including incorporations, restructurings, share allotments and strike-offs.
  • Ensure compliance with the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA regulations and applicable CSP requirements.
  • Oversee statutory filings, board and shareholder meetings, resolutions and corporate records.
  • Manage client escalations, service quality and delivery standards across the portfolio.
  • Drive resource planning, team performance, professional development and succession planning.
  • Oversee operational efficiency, portfolio profitability, risk management and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, cross-selling and deeper client engagement.
  • Lead process improvement, standardisation and transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • 10-15 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably within corporate services or professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA requirements and corporate governance practices.
  • Experience managing complex corporate structures, substantial client portfolios and multiple entity types.
  • Proven experience leading teams, including managers and senior corporate secretarial professionals.
  • Strong client relationship management, advisory and commercial capabilities.
  • ICSA/CGI qualification or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
