Mekong Frozen Foods, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a subsidiary of the Allana Group, established in 1865, the India's largest exporter of branded processed food products and agro commodities, serving over 85 countries.
We are looking for a full-time, on-site role for an AR Accountant based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Role Description
- Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform periodic AR reconciliation with customers (monthly/quarterly)
- Track payment status, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collection
- Record and post cash receipts and bank transactions into the accounting system
- Coordinate with the Sales team to resolve issues related to invoicing, payments, and AR disputes
- Prepare AR reports and other related reports as required
- Support external/internal audits and provide relevant documentation when necessary
- Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Graduated from College or University majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
- Good command of English
- Careful, honest, responsible, and able to work well in a team
- Experience with Power Query or Oracle is an advantage
