Job Description

About the client

Our client is a global online food and quick-commerce delivery group — publicly listed and operating across 65+ markets worldwide.

The opportunity

This is a senior, high-impact competition role at the frontier of digital-economy regulation. You'd own competition/antitrust advisory across 10+ APAC jurisdictions, advising senior regional and local leadership as a genuine business partner — not a compliance desk.

The work sits squarely on the issues shaping platform competition law today: two-sided markets and network effects, merchant parity and exclusivity, dynamic pricing, loyalty programs, and the gig-economy labour/competition nexus.

What you'll do

  • Advise on all aspects of competition law across the group's APAC operations, including antitrust investigations and commercial agreements.
  • Build and continuously improve the competition compliance program — turning global frameworks into field-ready playbooks for local teams across markets at different stages of antitrust maturity.
  • Lead regulatory engagements and competition investigations, including dawn-raid readiness and response protocols across jurisdictions.
  • Give high-stakes advice on core platform mechanics: parity/exclusivity clauses, pricing, and loyalty.
  • Translate evolving APAC regulatory developments into practical, commercial guidance.
  • Design and deliver antitrust training to stakeholders across the group globally.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years PQE in competition/antitrust law, from a top-tier international firm and/or a fast-paced in-house environment.
  • Qualification to practise in Singapore preferred; exposure to technology or platform businesses a strong advantage.
  • Strong grasp of APAC antitrust regimes (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, etc.) and digital-economy regulation.
  • Understanding of two-sided markets and platform economics — how network effects and data access shape market power.
  • Proven ability to balance legal risk with the commercial goals of a high-growth tech business.
