What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

• Be responsible for the local monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries, reporting, preparation, and review of reconciliations (end-to-end), with a focus on financial institutions payments and credit operations
• Project management focused on process improvement
• Act as a bridge between local accounting principles and US GAAP
• Perform accounting variance analysis for reporting purposes (monthly, annually, and for explanatory notes)
• Provide daily support to accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit operations, and treasury functions, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes for all local operations
• Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements
• Prepare statutory accounting obligations and ancillary reports (ECD)
• Review and submit reports to the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB).

Requirements:

• Advanced English proficiency
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and relevant experience in process improvement projects
• Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
• Experience in payment or credit institutions.
