About Alpha Asimov Robotics
Alpha Asimov Robotics is a deep-tech startup building Vietnams first fully autonomous, road-capable delivery robots. Unlike sidewalk or campus robots, our robots are designed to operate safely in real urban traffic, delivering food and consumer goods directly to the customers doorstep.
We design and manufacture the entire stack from hardware and vision AI to routing software and fleet dispatch systems fully in Vietnam. With more than 90% local build rate, Alpha Asimov is one of the few companies in Southeast Asia to achieve true end-to-end autonomy for delivery robots.
Our robots are currently piloting in Hanoi, with plans to expand deployments in Dubai and Singapore. Our mission is to reduce last-mile delivery costs, enable large-scale automation for logistics and food platforms, and export Vietnamese robotics technology to global markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize AI models for computer vision and robotics.
- Work across the AI stack: data collection, preprocessing, training, fine-tuning, simulation testing, deployment on robots, and iteration.
- Vibe-coding is a must: fully leverage advanced AI coding systems (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to maximize productivity, automate repetitive work, and deliver more with less.
- Shift mindset from manual coding to supervising, validating, and being responsible for code quality and outcomes.
- Build and improve pipelines that automate data collection, training, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine approaches and solve problems calmly and logically.
Requirements
- 24 years of experience in AI or computer vision (experience in robotics/autonomous systems is a plus).
- Strong skills in Python, PyTorch, and C++ (ROS experience preferred).
- Solid knowledge of deep learning, probabilistic models, and optimization.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new AI models (e.g., Transformers, Diffusion Models).
- Proven ability in vibe-coding: using AI coding assistants (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) as a core part of your workflow not optional, but essential.
- Automation mindset: focus on building scalable systems and pipelines rather than only manual coding.
- Good English reading/writing skills.
- Responsibility, honesty, maturity, and openness to changing your mind when logic demands it.
- Team player with the ability to discuss calmly and reach solutions together.
Preferences
- Experience in robotics and sensor data (camera, radar, lidar).
- Experience with 3D computer vision tasks (detection, segmentation, SLAM).
- Contributions to AI challenges, research papers, or open-source projects.
- Masters degree in Computer Vision or related field.
