1. JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and deploy AI-integrated robotic arm solutions. The ideal candidate will be involved in building the system from simulation to training the robotic arm (using Isaac Lab) to perform collaborative tasks with humans.
2. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design the robotic arm (ARM).
- Build the ARM training environment in Isaac Sim and train the ARM to perform collaborative tasks.
- Develop robot control software on ROS/ROS2, MoveIt.
- Deploy the models on a physical ARM.
- Process image and 3D data for object recognition and generate synthetic data for AI training.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for the system.
3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of experience (or equivalent research/project work) in Robotics/Computer Vision.
- Proficiency in ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, and CAD software for ARM design.
- Experience with Isaac Sim.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Knowledge of robot kinematics and motion planning.
- Experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning for robots (Isaac Gym, Stable-Baselines).
- Experience with projects using Isaac Sim + Isaac Lab.
- Experience deploying perception models on Jetson, TensorRT, TFLite, and OpenVINO.
- Knowledge of robot safety standards (ISO 10218, IEC 61508).
