Job Description

As an Accounting Specialist, you will manage financial systems, maintain accurate records, support audits, and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements-playing a key role in delivering reliable financial reporting for global teams.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
• Strong understanding of online financial systems and processes
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
• Flexibility and willingness to assist other departments when needed
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Highest level of integrity and transparency
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage online financial systems and user access to ensure security and data integrity (NetSuite Accounting Software)
• Prepare and maintain financial documentation, including journals, ledgers, and balance sheets
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial and statutory compliance
• Stay updated on Malaysian financial and statutory regulations and implement necessary changes
• Provide accounting support to the Global Finance Team as required
