Talentnet's client is looking for Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities of the company. This position plays a strategic role in supporting the CEO with financial insights, system improvements, and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and efficient workflow systems.
- Partner with the CEO to provide strategic financial advice and business recommendations.
- Oversee all tax-related matters, including compliance, planning, and risk management.
- Drive digital transformation and system enhancement initiatives, including ERP/accounting software upgrades (e.g., Bravo, Fast, or similar).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and international best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 810 years of accounting experience in Retail or Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in taxation, accounting systems, and financial controls.
- Proven experience in system implementation or transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Bravo, Fast, or similar accounting software.
- Possess professional qualifications such as Chief Accountant Certificate, ACCA, or CPA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- High integrity, leadership, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good command of English
