- Book Keeping & Reporting (50%)
- Scan docs and invoice and send to customer (if required).
- Update bank book and cash book for AR transactions.
- Record bank and cash transaction in accounting systems.
- Read, check and reply email for the customers.
- Solve the problem raised by the customers on the invoice and payment.
- Update exchange rate in CW1 daily.
- Treasurer.
- Prepare statement of account for local customer and send the SOA to customer for reminder.
- Update status outstanding balance for local clients for debtor report.
- Filing invoices.
- Prepare AR confirmation for auditing.
- Prepare revenue reconciliation.
- Prepare data for VAT/ FCT declaration.
- Find document for tax auditing (if any).
- Performs other duties that will be assigned.
- Maintenance AR-related data.
- Accounting Policies & Compliances (20%)
- Controlling invoice issuance process
- To check all invoices issued correct with debit note.
- Contact and work with other departments/parties for any concerned matters.
- CREDIT CONTROLLER (20%)
- Support in credit application process includes support to prepare and review the credit application.
- Review and control the customers payment within granted credit term.
- Monitor and contact customers for remind debt and debt collection.
- Update and provide weekly, monthly aging report
- System Set up & Ad-hoc Projects (9%)
- Support FM, Chief accountant on build up policies and standard operation process.
- Review and propose for improvement plan for current processes/practices.
- Support FM, Chief accountant & take part in accounting system/processes implementation & improvement.
- Health and Safety Role (1%)
- Follow Toll and legislative health and safety requirements to do with their roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and report hazards, injuries and incidents.
- Follow reasonable instructions in both normal and emergency situations related to health and safety.
- Act responsibly for the safety of self and others.
- Participate in health and safety improvement activities, reviews, audits and consultation.
- All have the authority to make decisions and act on any matter of health and safety to ensure their and other's safety.
- Report hazards, injuries and incidents.
- Raise safety concerns.
- Requisition designated protective equipment and clothing needed for their job.
- Engage in safety audits and observations.
- Undertake health and safety related actions assigned to them through appropriate channels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and committed to compliance and workplace safety.
