Roles & Responsibilities

The Account Executive serves as the key coordinator and executor of communication projects for assigned clients. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all deliverables are executed according to plan, meet requirements, and maintain high quality standards, while delivering a professional service experience and fostering positive working relationships with clients, media, and stakeholders.

Job Description

1.    Client Servicing & Account Management

  • Receive client briefs; work with line manager to clarify requirements, scope, timelines, and deliverables; ensure accurate documentation and clear handover to relevant teams.
  • Act as the daily point of contact with clients during project execution: provide progress updates, handle inquiries/feedback, and escalate issues to line manager for alignment on solutions.
  • Prepare meeting recaps to ensure information is accurate, clear, and actionable; follow up on all action items until completion.

2.     Project Management

  • Collaborate with line manager and internal teams to develop and execute detailed plans for each project component.
  • Monitor progress and quality of deliverables (content, media, events, production, etc.); proactively identify risks, report issues, and propose solutions within assigned scope.
  • Coordinate with and manage vendors/partners (venues, production, gifts, influencers – Celebrities/KOLs/KOCs, media booking, etc.): briefing, quotation, acceptance, and payment in accordance with company processes.

3.     Media Relations & PR Materials

  • Support the development and updating of media lists; assist in building and maintaining relationships with journalists/reporters as assigned.
  • Review and ensure accuracy and consistency of PR materials (press releases, pitch emails/documents, Q&A, briefing documents, etc.) under manager guidance.
  • Monitor and compile media coverage; promptly report sensitive news/articles or discussions to align with the team on appropriate handling.

4.    Proposal / Reporting / Execution

  • Participate in brainstorming and support proposal/quotation development: information gathering, industry research, planning, and budgeting under manager guidance.
  • Prepare periodic and final reports (weekly/monthly/annual), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery.
  • Support project documentation, acceptance, and payment procedures in compliance with internal processes.

Requirements

1. Education

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in PR, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields

2. Work Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Account Executive at an agency or equivalent role

3. Professional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant tools
  • Strong English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Research, synthesis, and analytical skills for industry/legal/media insights
  • Data consolidation and reporting skills for communication performance evaluation

4. Other Requirements

  • Passion for communications
  • Good health; willingness to travel and work overtime when required
  • Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and self-develop through training and hands-on experience
