Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Build strong, enduring client relationships and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business, marketplace trends, and media landscape.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing services and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Manage client briefs, projects, and requests, ensuring quality and timely execution.

Business Development:

  • Support line manager and new business development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Manage financial aspects of client accounts, including P&L responsibility. Strategic Leadership
  • Provide strategic counsel and support to clients, partnering with them to develop successful customer management programs.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to translate client needs into actionable communication/ IMC briefs / Media briefs.

Campaign Execution

  • Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, including creative and media strategies, project management, and quality control.
  • Supervise a team of Account Managers and Executives, motivating and mentoring them to achieve their full potential.

Leadership & Communication

  • Take responsibility to inspire, mentor, and the team to allow them to build capability, develop competence, and achieve maximum potential. Set goals and KPIs for each team member, and work with them to achieve these.
  • Exemplify strong leadership qualities, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  • Cultivate high-level client relationships and industry contacts.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Work with BD/MD to project future account team personnel requirements and overcome any existing issues

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, marketing communications, or a related field. Industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns (IMC) across online and offline channels.
  • Deep understanding of the shopper journey and ability to generate creative ideas for building brand awareness and engagement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to client strategy.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior executives.
  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media, Digital, Public Relations, or a related field.
