This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all Workforce Planning reports and planning models. The position serves as the data control point, validating inputs, identifying discrepancies, and improving data governance processes to enable reliable, data-driven workforce decisions.
Job Description
- Data Validation & Quality Control:
- Validate headcount, productivity, and workforce-related data across multiple sources.
- Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies before using the data for planning or reporting.
- Perform reconciliation between actual HC, plan HC, and system records.
- Data Governance & Standardization:
- Establish clear data definitions and tracking logic for Workforce Planning metrics.
- Ensure alignment of data sources across Operations, Financial Business Partner (if needed), and other stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for data structures, assumptions, and calculation logic.
- Reporting Accuracy Support:
- Support Headcount Planning and Cost Planning roles by ensuring input data reliability.
- Conduct regular data audits to minimize errors in forecasts and reports.
- Improve data flow to reduce manual checking and repetitive corrections.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify root causes of recurring data issues and propose process enhancements.
- Work closely with PMO/System role to improve system-based tracking and automation.
- Drive improvements to increase scalability and reduce manual dependency.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in data analytics, workforce planning, operations reporting, or similar roles.
- Strong Excel/ Google Sheets skills (advanced formulas, data reconciliation, validation logic).
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Close attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and challenge inconsistent data when necessary.
