Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Tester (Magento) based in Hanoi. The Web Tester will be responsible for executing test plans, managing test cases, conducting software quality assurance, and ensuring the overall quality of Magento-based web applications. Daily tasks include identifying bugs, reporting issues, and following up to ensure resolution while collaborating with developers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for thoroughly testing the staging instances of multiple Magento 2 sites before deployment.
- Involve detailed bug checking, effective communication, and meticulous documentation to ensure the quality and functionality of the websites.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and functionality expectations.
- Test the staging instances of multiple Magento 2 sites based on the completed development work.
- Conduct comprehensive bug checking, including functional testing, usability testing, and compatibility testing across different devices and browsers.
- Verify the proper implementation of front-end design elements, responsiveness, and user interactions.
- Document and report any bugs, defects, or issues encountered during testing in a clear and structured manner.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified bugs have been fixed and new features work as intended.
- Perform performance testing and analyze the website&aposs speed, stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and testing documentation to reflect the evolving requirements and improvements.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Magento 2 Website Tester or similar role.
- Knowledge of Magento 2 platform, including its architecture, features, and functionality.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report bugs and issues to the development team.
- Experience with documenting test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
