Warehouse Officer

Objective of Job:

• Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient execution of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, reverse logistics, and inventory control in alignment with operational standards.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards, preventing damage, errors, and discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence toward a zero-incident workplace.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Prepare and complete orders (picking, packing, labeling, shipping).
• Receive, unload, inspect, and store inbound goods.
• Check quality and part numbers before delivery.
• Perform put-away and ensure correct storage locations.
• Maintain FIFO / FEFO principles.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage.

Inventory & Control

• Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain records.
• Report discrepancies, damaged, or slow-moving goods.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and standards.

Safety & Workplace Management

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Ensure equipment (forklifts, tools) is functional and safe.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting

• Report daily inbound/outbound activities and issues.
• Report system failures, damages, or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• College diploma / vocational diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years in warehouse/logistics operations (preferably automotive/spare parts)
• Experience with warehouse systems and documentation
• Familiar with modern warehousing practices
• Forklift license is a plus
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
• Familiarity with WMS systems
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Good organization and time management
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Physically fit (able to lift heavy goods)
• Adaptable and detail-oriented
