Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics System Management
- Plan and execute overall country-level logistics strategies, including warehouse management, transportation and distribution, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- Design and implement efficient logistics processes to ensure a smooth flow of goods from suppliers to end users.
2. Supplier and Carrier Management
- Select, evaluate, and manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), transportation companies, and warehousing partners.
- Monitor service performance and ensure that SLAs, cost control, and service quality meet established standards.
3. Inventory and Warehouse Optimization
- Monitor inventory levels and develop replenishment strategies to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Optimize warehouse operations to improve storage efficiency and accuracy.
4. Cross-border Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on international transportation, customs clearance, and compliance matters to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance across cross-border logistics operations.
- Collaborate with the China headquarters and regional teams to optimize the localization of the global supply chain.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze logistics data (e.g., transportation costs, lead times, inventory turnover) to identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation.
- Regularly provide logistics performance reports and actionable business insights to management.
Requirements
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related fields is preferred.
2. Work Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience in the technology industry, consumer goods, or e-commerce logistics is preferred.
- Familiarity with the local logistics market, customs regulations, and cross-border logistics processes.
3. Professional Skills
- Proficient in logistics management systems (e.g., WMS, TMS) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Strong cost control and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize logistics expenses effectively.
- Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and relevant international logistics standards.
4. Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
