The SWAT Team – Warehouse Launch Assistant Manager is responsible for executing go-live for new warehouse openings, ensuring system/process/people readiness, stabilizing operations during the hypercare phase, and completing a structured handover to Warehouse Operations. This role focuses on system building and governance to help sites reach stable operations quickly and scale effectively in the following months.
Job Description
We are looking for a strong Operations Excellence professional to design, build, and deploy scalable warehouse operating systems across our network.
This role will own end-to-end process design, system implementation, and performance stabilization, with the goal of creating a replicable and scalable warehouse model.
- Warehouse System Design
- Design end-to-end warehouse flows and Layout (Inbound, Puta way, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Outbound, Returns)
- Define operating principles, SOPs, and exception playbooks
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize layout, process, and system logic.
- Implementation & Deployment
- Lead warehouse setup and go-live execution (process, system, people readiness)
- Partner with WMS/Tech/BI teams to deploy system configurations and data setup
- Establish governance model: daily operations cadence, issue tracking, escalation.
- Performance Stabilization
- Drive hypercare and stabilize operations to meet SLA and productivity targets
- Build control tower (backlog, SLA, productivity, quality, inventory signals)
- Package and roll out standardized models across multiple sites.
Requirements
- 5–10 years in Warehouse Operations / Ops Excellence / Implementation / Supply Chain
- Strong understanding of warehouse flows (IB/OB/Inventory/Returns)
- Experience in project-based environments (launch, setup, transformation)
- Structured problem solving (RCA, CAPA, project management)
- Data-driven mindset (SQL/BI is a plus)
- Comfortable working on-site and in high-paced environments
