The company is in a period of strong growth and is now seeking to establish the operational leadership required to scale its project delivery capability in line with increasing market demand.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Operations will assume full accountability for XSolar's end-to-end project delivery operations. This is a senior leadership role requiring an individual with proven experience managing large, distributed field teams and multiple concurrent projects across diverse sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the operational systems, processes, and structures necessary to support XSolar's growth trajectory — ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Project Delivery teams to deliver the full project lifecycle, from site assessment and planning through to installation, commissioning, and post-installation maintenance
- Oversee the scheduling, deployment, and performance management of project managers and installation crews across multiple concurrent sites
- Direct the O&M team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services, driving operational standards, workforce capability, and continuous improvement
- Establish and continuously improve operational systems, standard operating procedures, and reporting frameworks to support scalable growth
- Coordinate and manage budgets for hardware procurement, sub-contractors, equipment logistics, and inventory management to ensure site readiness and minimise delays
- Develop workforce capacity plans aligned with project pipeline and business growth projections
- Monitor operational KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to the CEO
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other key operational partners
Essential Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in multi-site project operations management
- Demonstrated track record managing large, geographically distributed field teams (50 or more personnel across multiple concurrent sites)
- Background in industries involving complex, high-volume site-based project delivery — including but not limited to construction, infrastructure development, telecommunications network rollout, utilities, or facilities management
- Experience building or significantly improving operational systems within a high-growth environment
- Prior experience operating in Vietnam is strongly preferred
