Position Overview

VinFast is a pioneering electric vehicle (EV) company committed to transforming the global automotive landscape through sustainable, innovative mobility solutions. As we continue to expand globally, the Vehicle Architecture Module Manager will play a key role in developing and managing specific architectural domains (e.g., upper body, closures, underbody, ergonomics) across vehicle programs.

This role is critical in ensuring that packaging and integration solutions meet performance, quality, safety, and regulatory standards while staying aligned with VinFasts strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vehicle layout, cross-functional coordination, and delivery from concept to production.

Position Responsibilities

Module Management & Technical Execution:

  • Lead the definition and development of vehicle architecture modules (e.g., lateral zone, closures, underbody, ergonomics).
  • Own module packaging, layout integration, clash and clearance checks, and interface control documentation (ICDs).
  • Ensure module-level compatibility with key domains including body, chassis, electrical, HVAC, and trim systems.
  • Support styling and design teams with technical constraints and hardpoints.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with other module managers, program engineering, manufacturing, service, and styling to ensure design feasibility and functional integration.
  • Lead or support DMU convergence, design reviews, and trade-off studies.
  • Address manufacturability, serviceability, and ergonomics within the assigned module.

Program Support

  • Deliver architecture module outputs across all phases: concept, feasibility, design freeze, and production.
  • Track and ensure on-time delivery of technical solutions, aligning with vehicle program milestones (Gate Reviews, Design Sign-offs).
  • Contribute to benchmarking activities and competitor vehicle analysis for your module domain.

Quality, Compliance & Innovation

  • Ensure designs meet global regulatory standards (FMVSS, ECE, GB, etc.) and internal targets for ergonomics, cost, weight, and quality.
  • Promote design innovation within your module domain, including lightweighting, modularity, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with simulation and testing teams to validate solutions.

Requirements Position Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in vehicle architecture, layout, or module design and integration.
  • Proven experience in CATIA V5 , Teamcenter , and vehicle DMU.
  • Strong knowledge in vehicle packaging, ergonomics, and system interfaces.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory standards (FMVSS, ECE, GB).
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in launching full vehicle programs from concept to production.
  • Exposure to EV architecture or premium vehicle platforms.
  • Ability to manage module-level delivery in fast-paced, agile environments.
  • Working knowledge of tools like RAMSIS, CAVA, or other ergonomic and compliance assessment software.
