Job Title: Animals Technical Sales Animal Nutrition.
Job Purpose
To promote and sell animal feed, feed additives, and nutritional solutions by offering technical support and building strong relationships with farmers, feed mills, distributors, and other stakeholders. The role combines sales with technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers (farms, feed mills, dealers).
- Identify new sales opportunities, meet sales targets, and expand market share.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
Technical Support
- Provide technical advice on animal nutrition, feed formulation, and farm management practices.
- Conduct farm visits to troubleshoot feeding and nutrition issues, then recommend solutions.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and product managers to adapt solutions to local conditions.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather feedback from customers and report market needs to management.
- Contribute ideas for product development and marketing strategies.
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Maintain a CRM/database of customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
At least 23 years of experience in the animal feed, feed additives, or livestock industry (preferred).
Strong knowledge of animal nutrition and farm management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and travel frequently.
Good command of English (written and spoken) is an advantage.
