Job Description:
- Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities
- Participating in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Involved in the inventory management process - analyzing market demand and response
- Supplier Management - managing current suppliers to ensure that orders are delivered by the committed date
- Cost and Quality Management - enabling access to favorable pricing and conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
- Other tasks/duties assigned by the Head of Department/ Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in e-commerce operations, shop operations, commercial operations, or related fields
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
- Good knowledge of the furniture industry is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative attitude
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing orders and suppliers
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
