  • Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities;
  • Participating in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing;
  • Involved in the inventory management process – analyzing market demand and response;
  • Supplier Management – managing current suppliers to ensure that orders are delivered by the committed date;
  • Cost and Quality Management – enabling access to favorable pricing and conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of quality;
  • Other tasks/duties assigned by the Head of Department/ Line Manager.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in e-commerce operations, shop operations, commercial operations, or related fields;
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors);
  • Good knowledge of the furniture industry is an advantage;
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative attitude;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing orders and suppliers;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities;
  • High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
