Job Description

Goal of position (Why was this position created)

As the Lead of Strategic Analytics, you will be the bridge between business objectives and technical execution. You will lead the end-to-end data lifecycle: from capturing requirements with department heads to architecting complex data models and deploying predictive AI tools. Your goal is to transform our raw marketplace and web data into a competitive advantage, ensuring every stakeholder has the right report at the right time to make high-stakes decisions.

Tasks (Description of main tasks)

1.    Stakeholder Partnership & Requirement Discovery

-       Consultative Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for VPs and Directors across Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Translate business questions into technical data requirements.

-       Reporting Roadmap: Own the BI roadmap. Prioritize incoming requests based on business impact and ROI, ensuring the team stays focused on high-value initiatives rather than just ticket taking.

-       Data Storytelling: Beyond building reports, you must present findings to leadership, explaining the why behind the numbers (e.g., explaining why a specific SKU's margin dropped across Home Depot vs. Amazon).

2.    Advanced Business Intelligence & Reporting

-       Full-Stack Reporting: Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards that provide single-pane-of-glass visibility into multi-channel performance.

-       UX/UI for Data: Ensure reports are intuitive and actionable. You will define the visualization standards for the organization to ensure consistency across all departments.

3.    AI-Driven Analytics & Natural Language Requests

-       NLQ Architecture: Research, develop, and deploy AI frameworks (LLMs/GPT) that enable stakeholders to perform Natural Language Queries (NLQ) against our data warehouse.

-       Semantic Layer Management: Build and maintain the semantic layers (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer) necessary for AI to accurately interpret business logic, ensuring that Revenue or Margin is defined consistently across all AI-generated responses.

-       AI Implementation: Stay at the forefront of Generative BI tools to transform how the organization interacts with data—moving away from static dashboards toward conversational data exploration.

4.    E-Commerce Analytic Architecture (Adobe Analytics & GA4)

-       Measurement Strategy: Lead the technical management of Adobe Analytics and GA4 data. Ensure that every click, conversion, and customer event is accurately captured via eVars, props, and success events.

-       A4T Integration: Manage the integration of Adobe Commerce, Target, and Analytics to ensure all personalization and customer journey efforts are backed by rigorous data.

-       Site Tagging: Lead the end-to-end measurement strategy by architecting and deploying site tagging and tracking codes. You will ensure absolute data fidelity across all digital properties by managing complex data layer integrations, asynchronous loading, and cross-domain tracking, while meticulously mapping the customer journey through specialized eVar, prop, and success event architecture.

5.    Analytics Engineering & DevOps

-       The Engine Room: Architect and optimize our dbt models and SQL lineage. You will be responsible for the Source of Truth, ensuring data is clean, tested, and high-performing.

-       Version Control & CI/CD: Maintain our GitHub-based deployment workflow for Power BI (PBIP). You will lead the DevOps for Data transition, including peer reviews and automated deployment pipelines.

Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.)

-       Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders. You must be comfortable saying no to low-value requests and yes to strategic partnerships.

-       The Technical Core: Expert SQL, dbt, and Power BI.

-       Programming: Strong Python skills for data manipulation in executing ETL needed tasks with automation (Airflow).

-       Web Tech: Deep technical expertise in Adobe Analytics implementation and Troubleshooting.

Business Acumen: Experience in E-commerce/Retail. Deep understanding of P&L drivers, attribution modeling, and marketplace dynamics.

Benefits:

- Probation with 100% salary

- 16 days annual leave

- 13th salary bonus

- Provided laptop and equipment

- Social insurance according to Labor Laws

- Annual salary review

- Annual health check

- Free parking lot
