ABOUT THE JOB:
Report operationally to: Fashion Manager
The roles and responsibilities of the Store Manager include but are not limited to:
Business Development:
- Develop the boutique business plan to include marketing and promotional strategies that will allow the boutique to drive traffic and to increase its customer base, with particular emphasis on building the local market (events, integration to the local community, etc.).
- Present strategies to the regional management and the central Marketing team for review and approval.
- Know the local market and business environment, including competitors activities and luxury market trends.
- Provide feedback on product assortments, buying trends, and customers requests.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service, complying with the Customer Service quality standards and to the selling ceremony.
Sales Management:
- Continuously motivate and train the team to meet assigned sales and productivity objectives.
- Demonstrate sales leadership to staff by playing an active role on the selling floor.
- Proactively manage the function in the boutique.
- Be up to date with the brands news and ensure that all associates are knowledgeable in all brands products, information, and history.
People Management and Development:
- Ensure training programs (sales techniques, customer service, policies and procedures, product knowledge).
- Supervise recruitment, evaluation and development of the boutique team, maximizing individual potential, and ensuring succession plans.
- Ensure all People policies and procedures are implemented, solving staff issues as appropriate.
Operations Management:
- Provide monthly quantitative and qualitative business reports.
- Determine staffing needs and create staff schedules to ensure the appropriate coverage and to match with the traffic.
- Responsible of the P&L of the boutique, with particular attention to controllable expenses, sales plan and operating profit.
- Ensure that brands standards are applied and maintained at all times across the boutique merchandising, customer service, and back office activities (stocks, administration, etc.).
Personal development:
- Develop strong product knowledge, soft skills as well as company history, information and news knowledge by attending training by brands, company & self-learning to generate knowledge about each brand specificities, strengths and weaknesses. Stay certified with all new brand knowledge.
- Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the authority. Know the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
- Develop knowledge in current industry trends and other relevant fields - Gastronomy, Art & Music, Giftings and other lifestyle aspects.
- Continuously update knowledge about customers profile of each brand to better understand their behavior and habits.
Team-effort duties:
- Maintain open, professional and ongoing communication with management and colleagues.
- Serve as a positive role model and represent S&S appropriately at all times.
- Participate in the training of new colleagues (product knowledge, boutique procedures, company policies, etc.)
- Adhere to and uphold all S&S Group core values, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the quality of work and services; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.
- Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Employee by the Company which may be adjusted from time to time.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Education: Minimum college degree in a related field.
- Employment/Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years managing experience in luxury retail (especially luxury fashion)
- Experience in exceeding established sales goals and providing exceptional customer experience.
- Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English (minimum 6.5 IELTS band is a STRONG plus).
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and listening skills. Being an inspiring storyteller is a plus.
- Strong drive to set and achieve targeted sales and personal income goals.
- Willingness to follow up again and again with our guests and clients.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skill.
- Good-to-excellent self-learning skill is essential.
- Able to work under high pressure and with high demand customers.
- Able to work retail hours, 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays (off days on rotation basis).
- Young and dynamic with growth mindset.

- Calm, patient and emotionally impermeable.
- Interest and knowledge in art, fashion, gastronomy, architecture is a plus.
