About Pandora Production Vietnam

Pandora's new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

A. Process & Chemical Control

  • Perform plating baths checking and ensure baths are within specification.
  • Prepare new plating baths and maintain solution life through filtration and maintenance.
  • Monitor critical process parameters: temperature, pH, current density, time, agitation.
  • Ensure daily checklist for machines and equipment calibration: pH –probe, current
  • Monitor recovery system for precious metal baths

B. Quality Assurance

  • Identify plating defects and perform root cause analysis (e.g., burning, pitting, peeling).
  • Support corrective actions to improve first-pass yield (FPY).

C. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Support line recovery during non-conformance or equipment malfunction.
  • Support Group Leader to provide technical guidance to operators on plating methods and best practices.
  • Participate in managing chemical waste, plating defects, and rework by optimizing processes.

D. Equipment & Tank

  • Check and ensure maintenance plan for rectifiers, pumps, heaters, hoists, filtration units, and dosing systems.
  • Check and ensure frequency of filter media, clean tanks, and maintain auxiliary equipment.
  • Support Group Leader preventive maintenance and report any abnormalities immediately.

Job Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 3 years+ of experience in electroplating, surface finishing, or chemical processing.
  • Hands-on experience with plating baths such as nickel, tin, gold, zinc, copper, or chrome is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of electroplating processes, chemical control, and bath maintenance.
  • Familiar with monitoring key process parameters such as pH, temperature, current density, and plating time.
  • Awareness of chemical handling, safety standards, and waste management practices.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
