Description
Key Responsibilities
Oversee general ledger accuracy, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and compliant with VAS/IFRS and internal policies.
Review and monitor accounting entries across AP, AR, GL, and Tax, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and proper supporting documentation.
Lead the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
Manage tax compliance including VAT, WHT/FCWT, License Tax, CIT; ensure timely submissions and audit-ready documentation.
Prepare and review tax working papers, support audits, and monitor changes in tax regulations to mitigate risk.
Support treasury-related activities such as loan reporting, interest cost optimization, and cash flow forecast reviews.
Participate in system enhancement and ERP implementation projects to improve efficiency, visibility, and control.
Identify, propose, and implement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce month-end workload, and resolve audit findings.
Profile
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of total accounting experience, including at least 3 years in relevant roles.
Strong understanding of VAS and IFRS.
Experience supervising and supporting accounting team members.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Strong sense of compliance, integrity, accountability, and accuracy.
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
