About Company:
To meet the growing demand for our jewelry and enhance resilience to supply disruptions, Pandora is constructing a new facility in Binh Duong province from May 2024, expected to be opened in 2026. Pandora, the world's largest jewelry brand by sold pieces, currently has 3 production facilities in Thailand with 13,000 staff. The US$160 million factory will cover an area of 7,5 hectares and will be powered by 100% renewable energy and using only recycled gold and silver supporting the Pandora Group's target of net zero emissions by 2040. The establishment of Pandora's sustainable jewelry manufactory in addition to the carbon-neutral exemplifies a new paradigm of environmentally conscious entrepreneurship in Vietnam and beyond.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- Create weekly and daily production schedules for granulation, plastic injection, glass blowing, and stamping activities to support the Vietnam plant for all items.
- Ensure alignment with customer-requested dates and quantities, as well as production requirements, to enhance process efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor adherence to the production plan and take necessary actions to ensure its execution. Collaborate with the Production team to establish an optimal production schedule and ensure compliance with the schedule.
- Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders in I&PD, Pre-Production, PEX, Production to get reliable parameters to create effective production schedule.
- Review and discuss on performance variances against KPI targets with key stakeholders. Implement timely corrective actions to address any discrepancies and ensure alignment with objectives.
KEY DUTIES:
- Sequence production order of centralized activities including granulations, plastic injections and glass blow to meet requested quantity and date.
- Monitor day-to-day WIP level and delivery plan.
- Coordinate with Plant level schedulers to balance/ prioritize orders across plants and proactively track daily status.
- Manage delivery plan, production scheduling, and follow-up on production control issues as necessary at each production site support priority of Campaign order, Essential order, Expedite request, Replenishment.
- Manage delivery plan of granulation released from all sites.
- Manage delivery plan of plastic injections, glass blow and stamping released from VNM plant.
- Collaborate with Production to assess resource capacity.
- Review and synchronize production orders with Production prior to release to the shop floor.
- Release Production Orders to the shop floor control team within production sites for daily production activities, including releasing weekly schedules with hourly assignments and agreed output targets.
- Coordinate with Production and shop floor controllers to ensure adherence to the plan, maintaining the correct volume and timing.
- Monitor schedule effectiveness on the shop-floor and make adjustments as required.
- Identify deviations from the plan and prioritize orders during constrained situations, making necessary adjustments to uphold FROT (e.g., Generating additional production orders to compensate for rejects)
- Provide support for improvements and projects related to the designated site.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field is required
- More than 2 years in Planning/Supply chain field.
- Ability to relate cooperatively with internal and external departments.
- Familiar with planning/ scheduling for fast changing products, changing product mix/complexity.
- Experience in manufacturing environment (Jewelry experience is preferred).
- Proactive thinking and Analytical skill.
- Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity.
- Detailed and result oriented.
- Demonstrate ability to make tough decisions, making the right trade-offs.
- Is self-motivated.
- Experience in using SAP.
- Good English communication is a must.
