About Pandora Vietnam
Pandora's new jewellery crafting facility is located in the VietnamSingapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.
Main purpose of the role:
- Manage comprehensive strategy and operations with the objective of ensuring the proficient and effective to production, inventory and services.
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of materials management through the supply chain to production and organization.
Planning management
- Develop and implement materials planning strategies to ensure that the organization has the right materials at the right time to meet production and operational needs.
- Analyze materials, production schedules, demand, supply and inventory levels to create effective material plans.
- Collaborate with materials buyer manager to ensure material delivery aligns with production and scheduling plan.
- Manage the entire end-to-end supply chain process, overseeing activities such as demand planning, supply planning and cross functional team.
- Actively involved in resolving operational issues.
Strategy
- Manage supply chain toward Smart & Proactive materials planning team.
- Improve existing MRP materials parameter & information system for better work process.
- Drive accountability and process improvement.
- Continuously enhance the area by leading, developing, coaching and providing strategic orientation to Director or Management level.
- Contribute to the Management decision making by involving and assuring the Demand and Supply Review throughout the organization.
- Lead the process to develop and align the best Demand and Supply Planning Practices to predict the demand incorporating statistical data, and business strategy.
Inventory management
- Optimize inventory levels to balance the need for product availability with the goal of minimizing carrying costs.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, aging, and other key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement cost-effective materials management strategies.
Risk management
- Escalate potential risks in the supply chain, such as shortages or delays, and develop contingency plans.
- Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information - highlighting all supply issues. Detailing impacts of proposed actions.
- Ensuring actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with Business Planning Process.
- Mitigate risks through strategic planning and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity in the supply chain.
Team and People management
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the materials management function, identifying and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Building and developing successor.
Cross functional collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including group supply chain, master planning, production, logistics, finance to align materials management activities with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement strategies that improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-8 years or more work experience in the manufacturing set up in the material procurement or material management or planning.
- Experience using MRP, AX, SAP, O9, ERP or other planning system
- Business experience in Planning and understanding E2E process.
- Quick learning and capable to work under high agile and pressure environment.
- Able to work with multi-function and managing multi tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Flexible and Effective on Problem Solving.
- People management capability.
