About Pandora Production Vietnam
Pandora's new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.
Key Objectives
Key Duties
Manage supply of direct materials to ensure the availability and readiness according to the timeline.
Analyze direct materials, production schedules, and inventory levels to create effective material plans to production each direct materials category.
Coordinating with master production scheduling teams to align material availability with production schedules.
Collaborate with materials buyers team and stakeholders to ensure on-time materials delivery, prioritization and prevent production delays.
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of materials management processes.
Collaborate with Group supply chain to understand demand patterns and fluctuations.
Adjust material plans based on changes in demand and production schedules.
Generate purchase plan for materials based on MRP result and requirements.
Collaborate with material buyers for material supply plan such as weekly requirement and pull in plan.
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and demand including day to day operations on materials transfer and allocation to sites.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
Coordinating with logistics and warehouse team on the transportation and distribution of materials to each production site.
Identify and escalate potential risks in the supply chain, such as shortages or delays, and develop contingency plans.
Mitigate risks through strategic planning and collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Analyze data related to materials, BOM, usage for materials purchase plan both Campaign and replenishment orders.
Generate reports to provide insights into material planning metrics such as materials readiness, week of supply and inventory performance.
Utilizing data analytics tools to analyze and interpret data related to demand, supply, and inventory.
Identifying trends and areas for improvement in the materials management process.
Work closely production, master planning, scheduling, logistics and warehouse, quality and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in material planning.
Collaborate with other departments to address issues and optimize overall business processes.
Minimize discrepancies and errors in purchase orders to enhance efficiency and reduce rework
Clearly communicate expectations to both internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding response times and delivery schedules
Pull-in/Push-out order according to support production schedules
Follow up OPO tracking
Track & clear long aging purchase orders
Complete return order within agreement timeline
Escalate and solve issues with related teams and update to upper management
Track the performance of suppliers in terms of delivery schedule and services
Summarize and identify critical points of supplier performance results
Evaluate suppliers performance and feedback to suppliers according to develop & maintain strong relationships
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, or any similar fields.
3 or more years working experience with planning background
Business experience in Planning and understanding E2E process.
Quick learning and capable to work under high agile and pressure environment.
Able to work with multi-function and managing multi tasks.
Efficiency on communication skill and capability.
Flexible and Effective on Problem Solving.
Negotiation and Analytical Skill.
Detail oriented.
Good English skills
