Solution Architect

Scope of work

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the platform, ensuring consistency across SaaS, on-premise, and OEM/white-label deployments
• Design and extend core security components: encryption (at rest and in transit), MFA/SSO, RBAC and access control models, and audit logging
• Design architecture for governance and compliance features including retention policies, records classification, e-Discovery, and Legal Hold workflows
• Define architecture for regulatory reporting to support GDPR, FINMA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 requirements
• Design and govern API architecture and enterprise integrations, including IAM/SSO, DLP, SIEM, e-signature, and Document Management Systems
• Ensure the platform architecture scales securely across multi-tenant SaaS, isolated on-premise, and OEM/white-label deployment scenarios
• Define non-functional requirements: scalability, availability, performance, and security benchmarks for each deployment model
• Support presales in security reviews, technical RFPs, and client architecture discussions
• Work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to translate compliance and governance requirements into technical designs
• Produce architecture documentation, decision records, and reference architectures for internal and client-facing use

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Architecture, including 3+ years in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role
• Proven experience designing security architecture: encryption, IAM/SSO, RBAC, audit logging
• Strong experience with SaaS architecture and multi-tenant system design
• Experience designing and governing API architecture and third-party integrations
• Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar (FINMA experience is a plus)
• Experience designing systems that support multiple deployment models (SaaS, on-premise, OEM/white-label)
• Strong communication skills to support presales and client-facing technical discussions
• Fluent English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data governance or e-Discovery / Legal Hold systems
• Experience integrating with DLP and SIEM platforms
• Experience integrating e-signature or Document Management Systems
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP
• Prior experience in a product company serving regulated industries (finance, legal, healthcare)
