Role Overview
As a Solution Architect, you will partner with clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions. You will play a key role throughout the solution lifecycle—from solution discovery and architecture design to technical governance and delivery—ensuring solutions align with business objectives while following architectural best practices.
This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong communication skills, technical leadership, and the ability to balance business needs with technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
- Design end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define architecture across application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, practical, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Evaluate technology options and recommend architecture approaches based on business goals, technical constraints, and long-term scalability.
Client Consulting & Solution Discovery
- Facilitate technical discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and define solution scope.
- Present architecture proposals, technical recommendations, and trade-offs to clients and project stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing solution design, technical estimations and architecture recommendations when required.
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical design discussions and produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Review solution implementation to ensure quality, scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor development teams and Technical Leads on architecture best practices and design principles.
Architecture Governance
- Identify technical risks, system dependencies, and implementation challenges early in the project lifecycle.
- Recommend mitigation strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Drive architecture reviews and promote engineering best practices across delivery teams.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or equivalent architecture leadership role.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
- Experience working in software consulting, system integration, IT services, or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of:

- Event-Driven Architecture
- Distributed Systems
- API Management
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and enterprise security best practices.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data integration, and enterprise data architecture.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience facilitating workshops, architecture reviews, and technical decision- making sessions.
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
