By integrating MMP data, market intelligence, and proprietary AI agents, Boa predicts and suggests ad creatives with higher hit rates.
In our latest case study with Supercell, 80% of Boa's ads outperformed Supercell's own control ads. Teams using Boa ideate, produce, and iterate on ad creatives 2–3x faster while improving ROAS. Our team brings backgrounds from Google, Microsoft, and Harvard.
Our team is building AI agents that transform creative strategy for major global game studios. Our systems handle multimodal understanding across text, image, and video, and deliver in production what traditional teams would prototype in a year. We are a small, senior team operating at the frontier of agentic AI.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a software engineer who can own significant parts of our AI systems end-to-end. You will work directly with product and enterprise customers to scope, build, and ship, not hand off tickets. This means writing production code, making architectural decisions within your domain, and taking full responsibility for the quality and reliability of what you ship.
The scope of your responsibilities will reflect your experience. Engineers with more years take on system-wide architecture decisions, lead technical design for major product areas, and raise the quality bar across the team. Engineers earlier in their careers focus on deep delivery within a domain and build toward that broader ownership over time. All engineers are expected to be comfortable across the full stack, backend in Go and frontend in Next.js, and to work fluently with AI-assisted development tooling.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and build production AI agents, agentic workflows, and the backend systems that support them
- Own features end-to-end: from technical scoping and architecture through deployment and monitoring
- Integrate and extend multimodal pipelines working across text, image, and video
- Contribute to and improve shared internal agentic frameworks and infrastructure
- Participate in design reviews; contribute to architectural decisions within your scope
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and hold the same standard in peer reviews
- Collaborate directly with product managers and enterprise customers to iterate on pilots
- At senior and staff levels: lead cross-functional technical design, define direction for major product areas, and mentor engineers across the team
Your Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment
- Strong foundations in computer science: data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Proven ability to deliver production software end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Go or Python
- Clear written and verbal communication in English
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguous or shifting requirements
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agentic frameworks, or multimodal models in production
- Familiarity with orchestration tooling such as LangChain or Google ADK
- Experience at a startup or in a founding engineer capacity
- Background in full-stack development spanning
- Go backends and React/Next.js frontends
- At senior/staff level: demonstrated history of technical leadership and cross-functional influence
