Job Overview
This role will provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical attention to detail, ultimately ensuring the stability of production platforms and pipelines. The role will have varying degrees of analysis, development, documentation, testing, and support responsibilities.
This role will be part of the AI Platform Operations team, providing critical operational support to Production Services.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure production environment stability, including performing health checks and software patching
- Proactively monitor platforms and be first to identify failures
- Provide timely responses to incidents, customer queries, and service requests
- Review and follow operational runbooks and provide feedback for updates
- Take ownership and accountability for production services, including incident and problem investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, including participation in disaster recovery testing
- Participate in rostered and on-call support and remain flexible with shift hours
- Comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements
- Experience providing technology client service, especially in operational environments
- Proven ability to use relevant diagnostic approaches and tools to problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Experience working within ITIL frameworks
- Experience providing operational support, including on-call support and rosters
- Experience evaluating and deploying Machine Learning models
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation metrics and frameworks
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent documentation skills with strong commitment to quality and auditability
- Minimum 7+ years of overall technology experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in application support roles
- Experience with Kafka, Apache Spark, Databricks, and Python in cloud environments
- Knowledge of AWS data services including S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, EMR, and Kinesis
- Experience with platform automation tools such as AWS, Jenkins, and GitHub
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source code configuration management
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
