Job Description
- Greet and welcome all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Prepare and pour all types of drinks for guests and cocktail servers.
- Process all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately and present customer with bar receipt.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies to include but not limited to health and safety.
- Must be able to stand and move around the bar for the entire shift.
- Must have the ability to work fast and multi-task.
- In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, beers and liquors.
- Must be able to communicate effective over the phone and in-person with lots of background noise.
- Effective problem solving skills to include the ability to collaborate with others.
- Become familiar with hotel services in order to answer questions and provide guest assistances.
Job Requirement
- Vocational School Certificate is required and Higher Education is preferred.
- Two-year previous bartending experience required.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Must be able to pass a math test.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to learn the menu, point of sale system and day-to-day procedures.
- Outgoing and gregarious personality is ideal.
- Must be able to work any shift any day.
- Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field.
- Previous hospitality experience preferred.
- Must be familiar with the bar and mixology.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to communicate fluently in the local language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally.Bi-lingual is encouraged.
