Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces while ensuring a smooth user experience across all touchpoints. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical understanding, and user-centered design principles.
- Report to: Product Design Lead
- Team: 4 members
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging, consistent, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, create personas, and map out user journeys to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive, functional, and user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Ensure designs are aligned with the Cake brand identity and digital banking best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in UI/UX design, preferably in fintech or digital banking.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your skills in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
