As a Senior Team Leader Merchant Growth, you will be part of the Enterprise Payment & Business Solutions (EPS) team at MoMo, reporting directly to the Growth Manager. You will lead strategic planning and campaign execution for MoMos top-tier merchants (Retail & F&B), manage a high-performing team, and oversee growth performance across a diverse merchant portfolio. The role requires strong ownership in managing co-funding budgets, designing merchant-centric growth initiatives, and aligning execution with platform-wide objectives.
What will you do:
Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Own and manage the merchant portfolio across Retail & F&B; define tier-based growth strategies aligned with EPS goals;
- Plan and execute end-to-end campaigns (promotion, product feature, offline media, POSM, etc.) tailored to merchant profile;
- Track and analyze campaign performance (MAU, VTS usage, revenue uplift, budget efficiency) and iterate for improvement;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align execution with business objectives;
Product Marketing & Merchant Solutions
- Understand merchant needs and pain points through insight gathering and market research;
- Work with Product, BD, and Data to propose merchant-fit growth solutions, combining payment features, rewards, user experience, and communications;
- Contribute ideas to diversify use cases and drive ecosystem stickiness;
- Advocate for merchant needs in product discussions and help localize new features for merchant adoption;
Team Management & Development
- Lead and develop a team of 23 Growth Executives: assign scopes, support execution, and ensure performance tracking;
- Set up internal rituals (weekly syncs, reporting templates, learnings review) to maintain visibility and alignment;
- Provide feedback and coaching to grow team capability over time;
Funding Ownership
- Own merchant co-funding and internal growth budgets across campaigns;
- Work closely with BD and Promotion Platform & other teams to build proposals and allocate budgets for growth initiatives;
- Ensure efficient usage of funds to meet KPIs on budget utilization and MAU uplift across merchant tiers and categories;
What will you need:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Economics or related fields;
- 5-7 years of experience in Growth, Product Marketing, Campaign Strategy, or related roles within Fintech, Ecommerce, or other technology companies (required); at least 2 years in a team lead role;
- Strategic and analytical thinking;
