Senior Software Engineer

At Zing MP3, Software Engineering is not just about writing APIs; it is about architecting high-concurrency systems that serve tens of millions of active users. We are looking for a Hybrid Engineer: someone who thinks in Systems but understands the DOM. You will lead the development of our Backend infrastructure and bridging the gap between Core Services and a seamless User Experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance Microservices using Java to power ZingMP3's core features;
• Implement high-speed data communication using Apache Thrift / gRPC, moving beyond standard REST APIs; 
• Perform deep-dive SQL & NoSQL query optimization and database indexing to ensure high throughput and sub-millisecond latency for massive data sets;
• BFF & Frontend: Architect the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer and develop high-performance Web/Mobile Web components using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
• System Reliability: Monitor end-to-end feature health using Grafana, Prometheus,...
  

Qualifications

• Graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in Software Development with a strong focus on Backend.
• Strong proficiency in Java and SQL and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB,...).
• Experienced in designing scalable database schemas and optimizing complex queries.
• Solid experience or a strong background in Frontend development (React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript);
• Experienced with Unit Testing and writing Clean, Maintainable code;
• Solid knowledge of OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
