About the OpportunityOn behalf of our client, we are hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Node.JS) to support their global market intelligence platform. Our client provides a sophisticated platform that bridges the information gap in high-growth emerging markets, enabling multinational enterprises to make data-driven expansion decisions.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building dynamic and efficient
server-side applications. Your primary focus will be on TypeScript, Node.js, and the
development of robust back-end systems. You will work closely with our front-end developers, ensuring seamless integration between back-end logic and front-end components. Your contribution will be essential in delivering high-quality code that aligns with our clients needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality, efficient server-side applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end logic with front-end components.
Work closely with database administrators to optimize database operations and structures.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
At least 5 years of experience in back-end development, with a focus on TypeScript and Node.js.
Proficient experience with TypeScript and Node.js development.
Knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Soft skills:
Able to read, understand and communicate effectively in English
Sharp analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to own tasks end-to-end and work effectively
