Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Back-end Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Javascript on AWS serverless and NestJS or NextJS, while collaborating closely with Product Managers and fellow Developers throughout the software development life cycle.
You will take ownership of technical decisions, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior developers to deliver high-quality products that meet client and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and design scalable, reliable, secure and highly efficient systems, participate directly in technical decisions to deliver high quality products.
- Program new features and correct software defects.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activities.
- Coach and support team members.
- Able to make the full test of the application monitoring the network and the data ensuring it is ready to go to Production.
- Able to produce very few lines of code, highly maintainable and bug free code.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development using Javascript and focus on serverless functions, Node.js or NestJS, or related frameworks / systems.
- Very strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices.Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and a strong team spirit.
- Some experience in leading a project or team will be a plus.
- Strong reading and communication skills in English. Able to lead a meeting in English and communicate with clients.
- Open minded and have the ability to learn new languages, technologies, and knowledge.
- High sense of responsibility.
