Senior Quality Engineer

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ NHIỆM VỤ CHÍNH

• Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans to ensure product quality compliance. Ensuring incoming, in-process

inspection and outgoing inspection plans are established, traceable, and aligned with design intent.

• Standardize and keep updated with Stanley Black & Decker's quality standard & process and ensure that process &

product quality complies with SBD's global and industry quality standards.

• Maintain and align local quality processes with Stanley Black & Decker global quality standards.

• Manage customer quality complaints, including root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and effectiveness

verification.

• Track and ensure timely and effective closure of NCs, customer complaints, and internal CAPA.

• Involve in new product development (from planning, manufacturing, tracking, and validating new product/assessory).

• Work with the ME, PE, and NPD team to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new products.

• Collaborate with the Production to ensure quality control and monitor the progress of new product implementation.

• Establish and build the Quality Control Plan to test, analyze and ensure product quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous product and process quality improvements. Proactively

involved in Proactive Quality Program (PQP)/ Process Excellence (PcX) projects and achieve targets, SPX quality

integration initiatives.

• Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure production compliance with approved quality procedures and

standards.

• Support development and maintenance of SOPs, procedures, and quality documentation.

• Collaborate with suppliers to develop and approve QCPs that comply with company requirement, ensuring supplier

inspection plans match the engineering drawings and engineering requirements.

• Evaluate QMS effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.

• Develope training plans and conduct training sessions for QC staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

REQUIREMENTS/ CÁC YÊU CẦU

Education/ Học vấn:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, quality engineering, Industrial Management or related disciplines

Computing skills: Good command of Microsoft eco-system. Familiar with Power BI is a plus

Languages skills: Good command of English

Skill/Personalites:

• Effecitive communication and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with others

• Good sense of envisioning, drafting, and implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) into daily operation

• Analytic and system thinking.

• Able to work well under a tight timeline.

Work Experience Required/ Kinh nghiệm làm việc:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control/Engineering functions in MNCs

• Familiar with core quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, QCP, etc.

• Proven ability to conduct quality audits at supplier sites

• Fluent in English communication; Chinese is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in methodologies such as PDCA, 5 Why, 8D, DMAIC, Lean

• Experience with SAP and Minitab is an advantage

• Data-driven decision-making mindset with experience in digital transformation initiatives; IoT knowledge or experience

is a strong advantage
