Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a Senior Quality Engineer. The role is responsible for ensuring quality performance of PCBA and Box Build processes, leading quality issue resolution, establishing key quality systems (PFMEA, Control Plan), and reporting quality performance to management and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality compliance for SMT, THT, ICT/FCT, assembly, box build, and final test processes.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of internal, customer, and supplier quality issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive CAPA / 8D until effective closure.
  • Establish, maintain, and update PFMEA and Control Plans for PCBA and box build processes.
  • Monitor and analyze quality KPIs (FPY, DPPM, defect rate, scrap, rework).
  • Prepare weekly / monthly quality reports for management and customers.
  • Support NPI, process changes, and audits (internal & customer).
  • Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics or related field).
  • 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in PCBA & Box Build manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of PCBA processes and workmanship standards (IPC).
  • Hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 8D, CAPA.
  • Experience working with overseas customers.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
  • Experience in EMS / high-mix electronics manufacturing.
