About the role:

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our core products. As a Senior QC Engineer, you won't just test features - you will own quality end-to-end, work closely with Product & Engineering, and continuously improve how we build and ship software at scale.

What you will do:

Lead investigation, reproduction, and root cause analysis of complex functional, automation, and production issues.

Plan and execute end-to-end quality activities for large-scale products across Web, Mobile, and API platforms.

Design, maintain scalable test cases, reusable test assets, and high-quality test data; manage defects with clear technical context.

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to validate requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.

Mentor junior testers, review test artifacts, and promote QA best practices within the team.

Drive test automation, regression optimization, and CI/CD quality gates to improve release efficiency.

Apply modern testing tools, performance testing, and AI-assisted approaches to enhance QA productivity and system reliability.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.

5+ years of experience in software testing (Web, Mobile, API), with strong system-level debugging and analysis skills.

Solid understanding of SQL/database concepts and networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, load balancing, caching).

Proven experience in test strategy design: risk-based testing, end-to-end coverage, and quality validation for complex systems.

Hands-on experience in test automation using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.

Strong background in API testing (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) with a backend-focused testing mindset.

Ability to perform clear root cause analysis, manage defects effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and ability to work in fast-paced, multi-product environments.

Nice to have:

Experience with performance/load testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar).

Advanced automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, including test stability optimization and flaky test handling.

Experience optimizing regression testing (test prioritization, selective execution, risk-based regression).

Familiarity with QA & DevOps toolchains: Jira/Azure DevOps, TestRail/Zephyr, CI/CD pipelines, BrowserStack.

Senior-level experience contributing to test strategy discussions and mentoring junior or peer QA members.

Generating test cases and test data;

Analyzing logs, crash reports, and production issues;

Detecting anomalies and behavior patterns;

Assisting in automation script creation and optimization;

Understanding of large-scale system architecture: microservices, event-driven systems, distributed systems;

Proactive mindset to challenge existing processes and continuously push quality engineering forward.
