Your Role
As a Senior QC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies (Manual + Automation) to ensure product quality throughout development and production phases. You will lead the testing effort, covering functionality, performance, and security while collaborating closely with developers, PMs, and BAs to maintain quality standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies (Manual & Automation).
- Perform functional, performance, and security testing on microservices-based systems using OpenAPI and gRPC.
- Design and execute test cases and checklists, ensuring coverage across PC and Mobile platforms.
- Utilize testing tools for API, performance, and security testing.
- Apply test automation tools and techniques to streamline test processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with Dev/PM/BA teams to assess risks and maintain product quality.
- Analyze bugs, trace root causes, and propose process improvements.
- Mentor and support junior QC team members, assign tasks, and track progress.
Your Profile
Technical Experience Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
- Strong expertise in API, performance, and security testing.
- Experience with microservices architectures, OpenAPI, and gRPC.
- Solid understanding of various testing types: Usability, Compatibility, Integration, Regression, Security, Load/Stress testing.
- Hands-on experience with common automation testing tools/frameworks.
- Proficient in designing and executing test cases and test checklists.
- Technical understanding of web development and software system design.
- Skilled in debugging, bug analysis, and working cross-functionally.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum workflows and fast-paced development environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage QC tasks and progress.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Worked on large-scale, multi-platform products (PC, mobile, web).
- Experience mentoring junior testers or leading a QC team.
