Senior Python Engineer

We are looking for candidates based in Ho Chi Minh City to attend occasional in-office events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python for both front-end and back- end systems.

Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.

Collaborate with product owners and development teams for requirement clarification, technical design, and defect management.

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Write and maintain unit tests using Pytest, to ensure robustness and maintainability.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.

Good communication in English in both speaking and writing.

At least 5+ years experience in Software Development (Python).

Strong proficiency in Python, Pytest and its ecosystem, with a solid understanding of core language concepts.

Practical experience developing serverless workloads on AWS, particularly with AWS Lambda for scheduled or event-driven processing and integration with external systems and databases.

Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL, including complex queries, relational database design, normalization, and query optimization.

Work with API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Have strong communication skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Ability to shift working hours when needed to align with US client time zones.
